Do awards matter when choosing an agency?

Unlike many marketing and creative agencies, we don't chase after industry awards and accolades.  We prefer to focus our time and efforts on delivering the best advice, ideas, logos, websites and campaigns for our clients.  And the recognition we receive from our clients with testimonials like these is our reward:

Nevis Environmental worked with Neil and Creative Lakes to redesign our website and promotional literature. We were delighted with the results which have delivered us a clean and modern web presence that is easy to navigate and visually beautiful. He managed to translate this to our promotional literature too, which has rejuvenated our pride in our brand. I can highly recommend Neil and his team for being able to produce modern, relevant results and value for money
— Kathryn Fraser, Managing Director at Nevis Environmental
We’ve used Neil’s services for a number of years, particularly on the social media and client communication side. He’s always done a great job, on time and within budget but more importantly, he brings ideas, words and images together to make sure the message gets across perfectly. Highly recommended.

Neil’s strengths including branding, marketing strategy and email marketing campaigns. What has helped me significantly when referring my clients to him is his ability to listen to your ideas and to question what you’ve said so as to identify the key emotional issues behind them. He will occasionally challenge what you prefer and, when he does, he frequently comes up with a more effective answer. I take my own ideas to Neil to sharpen my thinking and to help me focus on finding better responses to the business issues I’m working on. He’s a top man!
— Frank Roe, Director at Gain Success
I have used Creative Lakes to help with my marketing for a couple of years. Neil has a pragamatic approach to business development and has certainly helped me to grow my own business. I am happy to recommend him.
